Business Development Lead

Own project sourcing for Syncrate by identifying and reaching out to founders who are preparing to raise or already in motion.

Syncrate supports early-stage founders across fundraising readiness, investor positioning, materials, investor targeting, and execution support. We work closely with founders who want a more structured fundraising process.

The Role

As Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for identifying high-potential founders and projects that are a strong fit for Syncrate. Your focus is on starting relevant conversations, qualifying opportunities, and helping convert strong-fit founders into clients.

Responsibilities

  • Source early-stage founders and projects that fit Syncrate’s offering.
  • Run targeted outbound across platforms such as X, LinkedIn, Telegram, and email.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fundraising stage, clarity, and fit.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of founder conversations and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with the Syncrate team to convert strong leads into closed engagements.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and outreach skills.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with founders and operators.
  • Good understanding of startups, fundraising, or early-stage ecosystems.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized across multiple conversations.
  • Prior BD, sales, partnerships, or founder-facing experience is a plus.

Compensation

Performance-based compensation with upside tied to closed client engagements.

Fundraising Strategist

Help founders present stronger raises by improving positioning, refining materials, sharpening investor targeting, and supporting execution quality.

The Role

As Fundraising Strategist, you will help drive delivery quality across client engagements. You will work on how founders are positioned, how their raise is presented, how investor materials are structured, and how the overall fundraising process is organized.

Responsibilities

  • Refine fundraising narratives and investor-facing messaging.
  • Review and improve decks and other fundraising materials.
  • Help structure investor targeting and outreach priorities.
  • Support client execution across follow-ups, process organization, and momentum tracking.
  • Work directly with founders to make their raise clearer, sharper, and more investor-ready.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to think clearly about positioning, narrative, and investor expectations.
  • Experience with startup fundraising, venture, advisory, or strategy work is a plus.
  • High attention to detail across materials and process.
  • Comfort working closely with founders in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation

Compensation aligned with role scope, experience, and level of involvement.
